Thankful Thursday - Choices.

“Our lives are fashioned by our choices. First we make our choices. Then our choices make us.” Anne Frank

There are point and click games in which all you  do is click on a key character and direct her to move in various directions. Every direction changes the outcome of the story.

The constant choices for the character to go down a specific road, take a risk, explore a new area, creates a completely new adventure for her. You make the choices, your character lives the consequences of those choices - good or bad.

It's the same in life - we make choices and those choices ultimately make us the person we become.

Thinking back to choices I made in the past, some of them I wish I could have a do-over, a retake.

Other choices changed me and reshaped my life for the better. The best was my decision to trust God.

Choosing to trust God broke the darkness colouring my life. And it turned all my angst and pain and frustration into total awesome - awesome because once I did made that choice, peace replaced despair, and hope replaced all the sad.

Happy Thursday Guys.

Choices; we make them every day. I'm glad I made the right choice all those years ago to follow Jesus Christ. What a difference He has made in my life and how much happier I am because of Him. When we go through the darkness, and we all do at one time or another, it makes a huge difference to have Him by our side.

I just went through two surgeries since May and now I am recuperating. It was a difficult time for me but because I trusted Him to take care of me and because of all the prayer cover I had, everything went well and now I can relax and enjoy my summer. God is good and how much better my life is because of a choice I made many years ago! Thank you Jesus!

Blessings and hugs from PEI,
Sandi

I've made choices I wish I could do over too. I think most people have. Fortunately, we are sometimes given the opportunity to learn from our mistakes and make better choices the next time around. Hope you have a nice weekend!

I see the choices as building a puzzle. We cant see the big picture yet. I am happy you chose God, He makes a difference for me too

Choices - we hope we always choose the right ones, but sometimes we don't ...
We must always move on, another choice so often to better things can be just over the horizon.

All the best Jan
