Thankful Thursday - Heart

"Heart is what drives us and determines our fate." Isabel Allende.

Life is all about passion....the things that play on the inside of us that drive us, that pull us to chose the paths we walk down.

For me, the driving force has been about giving back.....making a difference for someone else.....making them smile, showing hope.

It's because of what He did. With one touch of His gentleness, He did what nothing else could. He pulled me from the darkness into light.  And I'm grateful. Incredibly grateful because I still remember how awful it was, how painful and lonely.

We can't tell by looking at someone what they're carrying, what pain they're holding. I still remember in my toughest moments, those times I wanted to give up - and a stranger on the street smiled at me. Their smile gave me hope, hope to keep going.

Maybe today my smile will give someone hope to going going, to not give up.

Happy Thursday, Guy.

I don't know where any of us would be if we didn't have hope. Nicely written post, Nikki. Have a great weekend!

Beautiful, wise words. A smile can make all the difference in the world to someone. We just have to beware it isn't misinterpreted. It happens.

It seems to me, that there is a shortage of smiles in today's fearful and preoccupied world. It's good to bring them to others. And you, Nikki, just make me smile...

GOD BLESS!

I don't think we always realise the difference a smile or a kind word / deed can make.

Here's to each one of us helping someone today!

All the best Jan

A lovely post, Nikki. A smile can go a very long way as well as a kind word. So many are hurting today and we just never know what another is going through. I think we are all able to smile and perhaps make someone's day. Have a great weekend.

Blessings,
Sandi
