Thankful Thursday

"Those who have courage and faith shall never perish in misery" Anne Frank

It's hard to be sad or stay down when something inside loudly and clearly says 'trust.

Trust....a five letter word that holds incredible power. I've learned that faith sees what my eyes can't. Faith says yes when everything around is saying no way, impossible, can't happen. Grateful for....

-my faith. It's a definite anchor to hold onto no matter what happens.
-first workshop on healing and recovery started and went well. I feel so incredibly privileged to be a small part on the journey of so many.
-excited to have the opportunity to teach on writing memoirs. The date is Oct. 14.
-Had writer's block but now writing again, short stories and articles for an anthology. Writing really does feel like breathing.
-Mostly that He's a life changer. He changed my life from sad to glad, from dark to light, from hatred to love. Sometimes I stop and wonder, how did this happen. I don't know for sure except that it did and I am over the moon grateful.

Happy Thursday, Guys!!!

God is in the business of turning sad into glad and I'm so thankful He did that in my life. Every day I count my blessings. Whenever I do encounter a downward spiral of hopelessness, I meditate on Philippians 4:8 and that brings everything back into perspective again. You are living proof of what a big God can do to change a life and so am I. Thank you for your encouraging post and have a beautiful day, Nikki.

Hugs and blessings,
Sandi

Sarah you always inspire me on Thursdays. It is wonderful that you help others in healing...that is a beautiful process. When you give comfort and support you get it in return. Hope you have a wonderful weekend Sarah. :-)

Nikki, that is awesome that you workshop went so well... I love how you are helping people to change their lives... :)

Also, Faith will help you to hold on until you can see... that's what I did... I had Faith that the light was there, even though I couldn't see it... Now I can...

So glad to hear about the many exciting things that are happening to you! It's so wonderful how God is using you.

Funny you should talk about trust. That was on my mind this week, too. I struggle with it, but am learning that underneath my worries and fears, I have faith in an unchanging Lord who is my anchor.

GOD BLESS!

I like the way you put that. Writing is like breathing for me, too. I don't feel right when I go without writing for a while!

He is indeed a Life Changer... a life-giver... breathing hope where there is despair... beauty where there are ashes. Amazing God. The best thing is that He invites us to spend eternity with Him. Only a fool would say no.

So proud of how you are devoting your life to helping others heal. It's a way of paying forward.
