Thankful Thursday

“In all realms of life it takes courage to stretch your limits, express your power, and fulfill your potential.” Suze Orman,

I've learned not to listen when there's something I really want to do and someone tells me I  can't, impossible, no way, ain't gonna happen.

The first thing I think...how do they know?  And there's always got to be a first time for everythingIt doesn't matter if something hasn't been done before or someone tried it and blew it or it looks impossible to achieve..

If my heart sings when I think of that thing.....I'm gonna give it a shot....I'm gonna go for it. Stubborn? Courage? Not sure which but sometimes I think you got to step up...step out....and do what plays in your heart no matter what. This week I'm thankful for.....

-Lesson from my oldest - she invested her money in a company she and others formed through Jr. Achievers. She said she'd make a profit. I was skeptical. This week she learned she more than doubled what she put in.
-After upteen frustrating rewrites, finally got the first three chapters done on my novel, The Game Player. I like how it reads now.
-Saw a couple of robins. Even though it's still chilly, they're back and that means it really is spring. YEAHHHH.
-All the incredible people in my world, including you guys here online.
-Faith...simple steady......always there kind of faith. It's the anchor that grounds me. The thing that never fails to pumps me with hope

Happy Easter Guys.

Happy Easter to you, too. I like the part where you say, "How do they know?" Asking for strength to listen to His and only his voice because He does know! :)

Hugs,
Tammy

Happy Easter to you and your family, Nikki!

I know exactly what you're saying in your post today.
So many times, I've proven some people wrong. It's a 'God thing,' I know. He knows and He gives us the gumption and know how to do it. I love it when that happens.
Hubby is reading your book, eye of Deception' and he can't put it down. Just thought I'd let you know. :)

Have a beautiful and blessed weekend in Him, my friend.

Blessings & hugs,
Sandi

You know that same situation happened to me yesterday. At first I was crushed. But as God and I got talking I felt okay. They don't know everything!

Happy and blessed Easter.

"Do what plays in your heart"--yes! I so agree with this. If you really believe in it, just ignore those who tell you it will never work and give it a try anyway.

Happy Easter to you!

What a wise thing your daughter did! It's amazing how they come up with such great ideas at such young ages. I am with you when it comes to not listening to some advices especially if the ones giving them haven't even gone through experiences they are talking about...! Happy Easter to you sistet up north!!!

I'm so happy to read your post today. As usual, you continue to inspire me no end!
Today, with the Lord's help, I fulfilled a big dream: I organised and facilitated the first Alpha Course in the town where I live! Many told me it wasn't going to work, that nobody was interested in this sort of thing... well, 8 people showed up... and we had a great time together. Truly looking forward to the weeks ahead!

Wishing you a Blessed Eastertime!
