Thankful Thursday

"In life as in the dance, grace glides on blistered feet." Alice Abrams.

Living grateful makes the dance of life flow smoother.....  even over the rough patches..... and tough times that sometimes zaps my strength.  There's tremendous peace knowing He's always there.

I've spent most of this week researching and writing. I'm consumed with the story because as hard as it is to read.....it's filled with grace and hope and overcoming. To me that's the best. This week I'm thankful for......

-hooking up with this wonderful lady who heads a prison ministry. She just finished reading my book and now she's helping me with the one I'm writing. Her expertise is invaluable. I'm very grateful for all her help and support. We live a couple of hours away from each other and have agreed to meet half way tomorrow.
-For N. She's consistently kind. When I talk to her I always come away feeling ten feet tall.
-For the lady at the Crown Attorney's office. She's trying to help me access achieved files I need for the story. She's a godsend.
-It's now official. the trip is officially book. We're definitely going to Europe end of April. When we go to Amsterdam we'll be within walking distance to the annex where Anne Frank hid.
-For the hope that's always in Him. I'm grateful He never gave up on me and that He never gives up on any of us. To trust Him is to 'Know Hope.'

It's wonderful to see how HE brings the right people into our lives, when need them. Your next book is going to be a wonderful inspiring story (as yours) to help others... and I think, when we do things for others ` everything falls into place to make it happen. Wishing you a beautiful Thursday! xo HHL

Praise God! I am amazed at how He brings people together! When God is in something, you know it's going to be amazing and life changing.

My son visited the home of Anne Frank last summer. I'm excited for you!

Thank you for another inspiring post, Nikki, and have a blessed day.

Blessings,
Sandi

Sarah,
Isn't He wonderful? Things are shifting so much in my life right now at a time when I was ready and willing to go with the staus quo even though it didn't bring much happiness...and gosh, now I have things that are happening and I don't know where it is going, it's exciting.
hugs to you!

To trust Him is to know hope. That is very well said.

I am excited about your trip to Europe... Anne Frank, she's one of my early heroes.

And you know what, you're my hero too. A modern day one.

Your story is worth reading.

Praying for your new book, Nikki.

Proud to be your friend.

When I got to the Amsterdam one, I nearly forgot all the other good stuff. I'm blown away that you get to go there and be that close to where Ann Frank was secreted away!!

God has given you the amazing ability to see the Hope in the hard places, to see His Grace in the midst of the storms. You put the words on the pages in a book like the brush strokes on an artists masterpiece - you help the readers see and feel the emotion through your words.
God knew what He was doing when He chose you!!
Love,
Jul
