Impossible

Thanks Charlotte and Ginger for always being here every week and hosting these great Spiritual Sundays

"It always seems impossible until its done." Nelson Mandela

Freedom stories....people doing the impossible....overcoming what others say can't be done - those are the stories that inspire.....and push me to move forward....past my fears...in the direction my heart pulls.

Stories of the impossible.....people taking a risk....doing the very thing others insist is not possible.... They close their ears to doubt and even reason....they focus on their goal....their dream....their hope.....and they pave the way for others to do the same...the impossible....the unheard of....They prove everything - anything is possible.....

Like Martin Luther King, Jr. who refused to back down or use aggression to win his dream of equality for all people and 22 yr. old Stacy Spotz who did what so many others older than her couldn't do....spending 70 days and nights alone on a boat raising money for a cause she believed in. And others who hold onto God's promises....determined not to let go of their dream...refusing to be moved by a seemingly impossible situation. Against all odds...believing for that thing they want so badly....knowing some way....somehow...it will be achieved...

I was told over and over.....I could have a marginal life with professional intervention....I beat the odds...I did it with God's help....I know now what others say is impossible...is always possible.

To dream the impossible dream -This is my quest -to follow that star -no matter how hopeless...

So true, Sarah. It's overcoming those impossible odds that inspires. I have always loved the song The Impossible Dream, and love the mouse picture illustration. With God nothing is impossible is something we all need to remember. Thank you for being an inspiration to so many.
Blessings,
Charlotte

What an inspiring post!!!
I sadly keep my ears open to doubt and that is hard sometimes but knowing that there is hope and a new way to see and to dream...I forget to dream, thank you for the reminder.

If I don't know His love and grace, I would remain baffled how it is possible for incarcerated people to be free! What a limited view because of blinders. Thanks be to our Lord Jesus Christ Who died for the sake of our freedom. And the One Who gives us the strength to accomplish what seems to be the impossible to become possible, all for His glory! God bless you sister and may you have a wonderful week ahead. Let us continue to fight the good fight. Love in Christ. ~r3

You have really touched upon an important idea here. We do need to dream because if we don't we won't get anywhere in life.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and dreams! You are as inspiring as always!

Best wishes,
Natasha.

This is so true! Oh, but I had to wince ... but that's a GOOD thing. I wonder if that's not God's way of reminding me, "See! You don't HAVE to give in(or)give up."
Love the pix ... feels soooo good to unexpedly laugh outloud.

Sarah I don't know your whole story, but I think we serve the God of the Impossible. Is His Hand to short?? I think not. He still wants to show His Glory and might.
