Spiritual Sunday "Faithful"

Thanks to Charlotte and Ginger for always hosting these aweomse times of Spiritual Sunday

"Every experience God gives us, every person He puts in our lives is the perfect preparation for the future that only He can see." Corrie Ten Boone (The Hiding Place)

I struggled to write this post. Nothing would come to me. The week's been slow...nothing major happened....just everyday mundane things... Still....inside...I feel it...that hope....and peace....a sense He's there...in my corner.

Today I had to pick up a cheque from a bookstore that had sold some of my books. My youngest and I had been goofy around. In fun...she jumped on my back and pulled something out of whack...causing excruciating pain...so much so....I thought I better stay home. But there was a niggling to go. I'm glad I did.

When I got there...the woman at the cash handed me the money and asked what book I wrote. She found it....read the back and said...you've been through alot. I waited. Then she opened up...told me she's struggling with something....and wondered where God was...why was He being silent. We talked. Before I left.....she said my coming into the store was Him answering her....showing He really was in her corner.

Yesterday.....a woman called....asked if I would speak to their women's group in March....70 women. I said yes. I'm not a speaker....and pretty much a chicken. But I promised Him I would go wherever He wanted.....tell my story whoever needed to hear it. I hung up the phone thinking....I have no idea how I'm going to stand up and speak in front of all those people.....but somehow I will.

I can't explain this kind of love....this kind of grace.....From the moment my life began....You have been faithful....

You are not going to do it....HE is..just as HE has been doing! Your part is to be obedient and HE will continue to do through you what HE has called you to do!

I praise GOD for your continued obedience! GOD BLESS YOU, sweet friend!

What a story of the way God leads! I had a real problem with public speaking, used to be scared to death! Just be prepared with notes about what you will say, and rely on that. Once you do it once or twice, it really does come easy. If this is where Gos has led you, then he knows you will be good at it. Remember Moses?

Hi Sarah, God will give you His words to say just like he gave you for the lady in the store.
Your obedience will be greatly rewarded.
Thank you for being an inspiration for all of us.
Blessings,
Annette

Hi Sarah,
I can relate... a chicken used by God. That sounds like a good blog title. (smile)

When I spoke (the one time I did) He took a chicken and made me an eagle that day. My husband still talks about how good it went. Absolutely amazing to me!

You are going to touch many, Sarah. :)

Blessings,
Tammy

"...but somehow I will." Yes! Yes, you will. I'm excited about how God is using you in such a wonderful way. In High School we were required to give book reports. I made good grades on the written ones but failed the oral ones because I refused to give them. I preached for 47 years. God will enable you to do what he calls you to do.

Your post just confirms God's Word in 2 Corinthians 2. We suffer and God comforts us in our suffering, so that we can comfort others who are suffering with the same comfort the Lord gave us. It works everytime. Thanks for sharing and God bless, Dr. Bobbi

Blessings Sarah! Hope your back is healed in Jesus name and much better!

Always a JOY to hear the good news in your life and how God is using you and blessing you and others through your sharing and obedience. He can work out and complete all things for good and HE WILL as you continue to step out and obey. It will come (I don't think you need to worry!) Indeed HE IS FAITHFUL! You're not a chicken, you have wings like an eagle.

Again, another congratulations for you for the contest you won. It's such a blessing to hear how your gift of writing inspires and keeps on flowing! yeah!!! (thanks Tyndale College and World Vision for noticing and awarding Sarah, she does deserve a double portion of God, as He restores what the enemy tried to do!) Bless her mightily, O Lord!

Thanks for the "hi" and linking up. You have a great family and entourage supporting your literary quality! I love the JOY you share with your kids and now us as God uses you! It's so exciting to catch of glimpse of our Father's faithfulness and grace over you. Thank you for sharing... beautiful video and song!

Thank You Lord for every experience that You are giving Sarah and the wisdom of Corrie Ten Boome's quote that she chose and is living as You prepare her for the future!

Peace and JOY,
Peggy
(*Nice surprise to see you and that you linked up... thanks! Hope you enjoyed a SUPER SONday!)

Isn't it so amazing how God always uses the little things, the things we think are insignificant in life, like our daily errands in the day, to get us to His will. Such a great story! Thanks for sharing and for stopping by to comment on my blog, as well! :)
