Spiritual Sunday "When You Shepherd Me".

Charlotte and Ginger host these awesome Spiritual Sundays. To join in post and add your name at http://bloggerspirit.blogspot.com

"All I have seen teaches me to trust the creator for all I have not seen."
Ralph Waldo Emerson

This week has been wild. A German publisher somehow found me....asked to review my book for possible translation into German to sell it in Germany. Then a bookstore asked me to bring them twenty copies of my book. And someone else said they want to help me find a distributor....to get my book out to a wider audience. I'm blown away by all this.

Me! Who hid in shame for so long because of the stuff that happened. Me! Who didn't want anyone to know any of it. Me! Who believed all the lies and ran alone...and scared....for so long.  Me! Who is now completely overwhelmed with love....and kindness...and people in my corner...helping me..believing in me. I've been a fighter. I fought to survive. Now I want to fight with purpose...for others....to show hope....to show freedom.

I am overwhelmed by love....overtaken by Your mercy....

I rejoice with you in these developments -- all point to one message, God will still use your life to give Him glory throughout the world.

What the enemy meant for evil God has turned around for good.

Praising God with you!

I love what God can do! He has done something similar for a friend of mine who recently published a book on the faith of our founding Fathers. He was interviewed on MSN and CNN. It is amazing what God can do.

Sarah,
Thanks so much for dropping by on this Spiritual Sunday. Your post is great news. Wow...Isn't God amazing?...WE can really never know all that He is doing...behind the scenes. His desires for us are always for good. Even when bad things happen, His loving hands are only crafting wonderful things that will unfold as the work continues. It only seems bad to us because we can NOT see it with God's eyes.
That...to me, is what FAITH is all about. To understand that God is never out to punish us, only to change us, to make us so much better than we ever could have dreamed possible ....without HIM!! This is my confidence and gives me courage to keep on when the going gets tough! Thanks for an exciting news post. I will be saying a little prayer that this is all going to work out for greater things in your life as God walks with you on your life journey!
Yay! Blessings.

I am happy about what God is doing in your life. As you know I review books and would be happy to read and review your book on my blog. I also know those who promote books for review and help to get books on the market. Let me know if there is some way I can help you.

Oh Sarah,
It is so wonderful that you came to visit...It is so nice to meet you! I am so happy for you with the good news about your book...I am praying for its success to bless the lives of others and you too...

Have you had it reviewed by Booklist? I am sure you have, but in the event that you haven't, they are fantastic and can be an invaluable resource for getting it out to the libraries nationwide. I wanted to let you know that as they are very kind and helpful.
Have a blessed day.
Hugs,
Cindy

I was the first one to comment last night but I was having trouble making my comment go through. I was just saying that when someone is willing to obey and follow His leading, God turns the ordinary into an extra-ordinary! Your story is truly a powerful testimony of God's redeeming power! May many be inspired by your testimony, especially the ones needing to hear, read that. God bless you sister and be strong in the Lord's mighty power! Glory to God!
