Thankful Thursday

To participate in T.T. post 5 things you're thankful for this week - then add your name @  http://truth4thejourney.blogspot.com/

Thank you Sonya Lee for doing this....

My five this week:

1. the closeness I share with my sister. We were separated since we were kids. My father tried to keep us apart but the bond between us drew us together.
2.  My best friend who I can have the best laughs with - laughing for no reason....just laughing to feel good.
3. my kids who make me feel like the world is ok....they are my two favorite people in the world.
4. my job that allows me to give back....to touch others - many who feel like they want to give up or can't see hope.
5. my relationship with God - He shines His light in my heart affirming I am not alone and will never be alone again.

Sisters! Love 'em, fight with 'em, push 'em away...and back they pop like a weeble- do you have weebles? Little egg shaped/sized things with a weight in the bottom? I love my sisters too, even when I feel like pushing them in a cold wet lake!
Oh and I really like your 'Bless my online friends' whatsit! I SO agree with you there!

I like your honesty in your list of things to be thankful for. It showed a personal side when you talked about your sister and how your father tried to come between you two! I also like your number five thing to be thankful for.
Blessings on Thanksgiving,
Amanda

Thanks for coming by my blog and leaving a comment about my struggles accepting my mom's dementia. I will stay Strong, because I have the Lord on my side, and so does she. Sometimes pain is not optional, but lounging in it, reveling in it, sitting in the pity-pot over it, is all optional. I liked your list. Come back and visit me, and I'll visit you.
