“I would always rather be happy than dignified.” Charlotte Brontë
There's a whole lot of 'proper' we're supposed to be and do, but I don't care about looking good.
I care about being free, having fun and laughing a whole lot.
Kids don't think of much else than goofying around and enjoying themselves. I am so thankful I can still do that with my kids.....let loose, go nuts, crack each other up.
When I'm working on my writing, or in the kitchen making supper, I sometimes hear them in the other room, singing, giggling, just feeling free and easy. I think that's the way we're all meant to be.
Happy Thursday, Guys!

I think so, too. Jesus said, "Except you become as little children, you cannot see the kingdom of God."
enjoyed this post.
Wouldn't it be great if we could all just relax and be ourselves and enjoy life without any of the pretense. Nice post. Hope you have a great weekend!
Nikki, I think we all need to break loose and be silly... that is what makes life fun... I love your uplifting posts ♡♡♡
We can learn a lot from children ... see life through those of a child, the perspective can be so different.
I enjoyed your post - thank you.
All the best Jan
Me too! I went through a stage where people actually called me childish because I was not acting my age. I mean choosing to be happy than formal is really my thing.
Happy week ahead!
