Thankful Thursday. Giving Hope.

"Life is not a matter of holding good cards, but sometimes, playing a poor hand well." Jack London

Sometimes life hands out crappy  things...things that stop me in my tracks and leave me questioning over and over, why'd this have to happen?

Those things that hurt....that come out of the blue. Unexpected. Like a dumb accident, or someone I thought was a friend taking advantage of me or not getting something I had my heart set on, or worse, the death of someone I adore.

But in the mess....in the not so pretty stuff, it's my faith that holds me no matter what happens. Faith that whispers, it'll be okay. He's shown me, that He's there, in the crazy, in the tough, in the heartbreak, in the hard to understand stuff. He's become my strength.

So when life hands out a lousy hand, I know somewhere down the road, things will turn around. It always does.
Happy Thursday, Guys.

I don't know where I would be now without my faith. Nicely written, Nikki. I hope you have a nice weekend.

It is my faith in Him that holds me together. Having received some heart breaking news, it will be my faith that keeps me going. No matter what happens, I can count on God to work behind the scenes. And no matter how things turn out, I am trusting Him. Another encouraging post, Nikki. Hope you have a fabulous weekend.

Hugs from PEI,
Sandi

There are indeed some terrible things that happen in our world ... but there is also a lot of good, and this makes me happy and hopeful. When things are bad we must keep faith and hope and work together to turn things around ... we can.

Have a peaceful weekend.

All the best Jan

Nikki, I wish I could hold onto my Faith... lately it has been so hard when all I have felt was disappointment and sadness... yet of hear of so many people dealing with much more difficult things in their lives and holding onto their Faith... however; I know I cannot judge myself against them, we all have our own trials... I have to learn to deal with mine... lack of trust is one of mine... xox You are so inspiring

Yup, life can deal us a lousy hand. But, the *ace in the hole* is always the presence and the power of our Almighty God!

GOD BLESS!
