Thankful Thursday. Know Hope!!

"Someone was hurt before you, wronged before you, hungry before you, frightened before you, beaten before you, humiliated before you, raped before you...YET someone survived. You can do anything you choose to do." Maya Angelou

It's a message that has become my life song...telling people, look at me, if I can, you can. If I can stand strong. You can stand strong. It's what I know to give and to show - that overcoming is possible, no matter how far someone has fallen. I've been there and I'm not there no more.

There's nothing that gives me more satisfaction than giving HOPE.  Grateful for.....

- every opportunity to give back whether through books, writing, speaking, or workshops.
- people I've met who've given me hope....who believed in me, showed me a better way, the way of love and compassion
-nature b/c I see hope in a small owl tucked in a tree, in a flying blueheron, in cute chippies and squirrels, in the smell of the woods and sight of majestic mountains.
-Hope that's renewed in smiles and kind gestures from people I meet and those I know.
-Hope that began with a touch of His gentleness that softened my heart, showed me love...love that changed me, took away the hate and angst. Hope for me is Him is knowing He's in my corner, a safe place to run to, an anchor to hold onto.

Have an amazing Thursday, Guys. Off to run a workshop and give back some of that hope.

Best of luck with the workshop, Nikki. I just love how much you are impacting the world. Hope - it's so needed now, as nothing in the news seems to be good anymore. How this world needs Jesus!

GOD BLESS!

He's my Anchor too...and the Anchor holds through every storm, through every valley, through everything! I hope your workshop went very well! Isn't it funny that when we step out to help others it ends up encouraging and lifting us up! So glad He takes us as we are and shows us a better way.
Love ya!!
