Summer's almost coming to an end, and with it, I have this gut feeling it's time for new adventures. I'm not sure exactly what but something inside me wants to fly.
My oldest will be starting university, my youngest high school. As for me, there's something stirring in my gut to step out on a new path.
It's weird b/c I have no idea what that is exactly, but I've been in this place before. I've felt this excitement and the anticipation that something incredible is brewing. I know it's Him, preparing me to take another risk, to move out of my comfort zone, to say yes to a new challenge. And I'm ready. Everything inside me is shouting 'yes, let's go!'
The thing I'm grateful the most - that life is never boring. He's always got neat adventures and makes living totally exciting.

Summer is ending, and soon it will be fall... it is the start of a new year as well. There are seeds in your heart planted in a past season that is about to sprout, dear Nikki. You are being prepared for the next great move of God in your life.

Yes, had that feeling about five months ago. It was like the Lord was telling me I was going to be ask to do something soon, something that would cause me to step out of my comfort zone. Now I know a little about stepping out of comfort zone. My husband and I have served in two third world countries with New Tribes. Now serving still with our mission in the states has not been easy. We were ready to die on the field, but God had other plans. Anyway Sometime after I started feeling that gut excitement the pastor wife ask me to speak at their ladies retreat. I knew when she ask that was what God was preparing me for. So for the first times I am doing four sessions instead of a one devotion session like I usually do. And I am not talking about mission. I will have to check back with you to see what it is God wants you to do...blessings.
All the best with whatever awaits you, friend. I know you'll do great with whatever your hands find to do.
