Thankful Thusday

“The soul is healed by being with children.” Fyodor Dostoyevsky

Kids make a difference. They show what's really important in life. The things I couldn't do for myself or wouldn't do.....I did for them. I wanted to live my best life so they could live theirs.

My oldest turns 18 today. Legal age!!!!  I adore her, I respect who she is, what she stands for and how she moves in the world. Grateful for......

-being mom to two incredible kids
-this day....I already feel like singing and it's only 7 a.m.
-met with the film maker.....moving forward to shoot on Monday
-only a few more weeks than 'Spring.' Can't wait.
-And mostly that His incredible love for me is a constant. It's always there.....no matter what. Some people pop in and out of my life....but not Him. He's there always in my corner running with me.That makes me really want to break out singing!

Happy Feb. 20th Guys....

Happy Birthday to your daughter! Eighteen; wow! Kids are amazing! Mine changed my life and made me better. Kids are an incredible gift and God gives good gifts!

I'm counting down the days till Spring too. Between yesterday and this morning, we got 42 cm of snow. I guess our water table will be in fine shape this year!

Thank you for another encouraging post, Nikki, and enjoy your day.

Blessings n hugs,
Sandi

It seems to be a big birthday day for some of my blogging friends' children. This is the third one, so far and happy birthday to your new adult. Eighteen ... what a special year.

Have a blessed day, Nikki.

Isn't it wonderful to see your hard work pay off over the hard years... Happy Birthday to your daughter :)

My oldest gave me some trying times over the years and I wondered if I had done a good job... I was only 18 when I had her after all...

She is head strong, knows what she wants and does not settle for less... as difficult as that is at times... I am so grateful that she is that strong...

I love your posts as usual, always uplifting, thank you for sharing :)
