Thankful Thursday

“Invisible threads are the strongest ties.” Friedrich Nietzsche

I had a ton of stuff to do, but I didn't care. Something inside me knew I had to do something even more important. I turned the car onto the dirt road and headed towards the isolated park. Even as I did, I felt it...a sigh inside.

I parked the car, jumped out and walked to the other side of the pond. There was no one around. I looked up at the sky, whispered thanks, then waited. It didn't take long before I felt it....the unmistakable touch of His gentleness.

It was freezing out. I didn't stay long. Just long enough to ensure the connection between us. The rest of the day was fabulous. Grateful for....

-The power of His gentleness
-The always forever connection I have with Him.
-The assurance I get knowing He's in my corner no matter what
-The courage He gives me to take a risk, then another, and then another.
-And mostly, the hope that has lived inside me since the first time He touched me and which has never blown out.
