Challenges

"You want me to do something? Tell me I can't." Maya Angelou

It's weird how when someone says, you can't, something in me says, just watch.

The best challenges for me, are the ones when people say, it won't work, you can't do it. It's what happened with writing, Twisted Innocence. I was told I'd never find the woman who was central to the story nor would I ever write the true story. I'm grateful for....

-finding that woman. The two of us now share a special bond
-finding the boy who saved her and hearing the real truth of what happened.
-connecting with the community where it took place and developing a love for the people living there.
-Done! Finished Twisted Innocence. It's now at the printers.
-And mostly...for His grace that knew I'd hang in and while I did....He opened door after door after door. Faith was pivotal in finding the key players and writing this true story. Faith  - it didn't always look like things would come together, but they did. Twisted Innocence, a story that taught me when you seek truth.....it always reveals itself.

Happy Thursday, Guys.....

I love it when God guides everything into its proper place. As one looks back over one's life, it is clear where He did just that. He is our Compass. Congratulations on finishing your book and being pleased with it! I'm sure it will be a blessing to many. Have a splendid weekend, Nikki.

Blessings,
Sandi

Awesome, Nikki.

This story sounds amazing. I'm so glad that the Lord infused you with the courage and stamina to finish it.

Somehow, it pushes me forward when someone says I can't. One of my dreams is to live in Israel, at least for one year. Something in me says it will happen... but your courage is quite admirable Nikki. I will soon order your other book, Dancing Softly, and then when this new one comes out, I hope to order it too. Blessings on you today! Love
Lidia
