Brave

Linking with Charlotte at Spiritiual Sunday and Laura at  Faith Filled Fridays

"Sometimes even to live is an act of courage."  Lucius Annaeus Seneca

Took my daughter out driving. She did great until......
Not sure if she got too relaxed....or just wasn't thinking....but she sailed through a red light on a busy street.

Brave....a kid learning to drive.
Brave....a mom teaching a kid to drive.
Brave...facing our worst fears.
Brave....trusting Him nothing bad will happen.

Brave....a niece battling cancer
Brave....a person taking a stand against an injustice
Brave...a survivor speaking out telling her story
Brave...total trust in Him.

My reason to be brave....in the face of what I don't understand

Wonderful discriptions of Brave!!
It definitely takes a Brave Mom to teach her child to drive...you'll laugh about it one day - I promise!
Thank God we have Him to hang on to while whizzing through red lights and such :)
Love ya brave one!

Oh yes, it can be quite scary teaching a teen to drive. I have two sons and know what that is like. Great post! I like all your examples of bravery.

Thank you for sharing this song. It is amazing. I hadn't heard it before. I do love Gosh Groban's voice. That is pretty scary with your daughter.
They have to know how important it is to stay in focus of where they are when driving. My husband took our son driving at an empty parking lot many years ago. There was a crow eating something on the ground. He told our son to keep going, the crow will move. Well it didn't move and he ended up killing it. He felt so bad.

Oh yes; I remember those days well too! (I still get a little nervous when one of my daughters is behind the wheel-ha!) Beautiful post Nikki; our fears can hold us back from having an open heart of faith and trust in God. :) Love, love this song! :)

Blessings my friend; have a "brave" week!
