When I feel like I can't go on

“Faith doesn't come in a bushel basket, Missy. It comes one step at a time. Decide to trust Him for one little thing today and before you know it, you find out He's so trustworthy you're putting your whole life in His hands.” Lynn Austin

Yesterday I heard that the man who decided it was right to take my writing and claim it as his own without paying anything for the work - printed up a bunch of copies, put his wife's name down as the author and is selling them at his church. His church knows he's been told by lawyers to stop infringing on copyright yet they've decided to ignore that.

Yesterday I was angry....really angry....at the man, his wife, their church and especially God for letting this happen. But when I finally got quiet....I heard it...that quiet whisper...reminding me.... He's in my corner...fighting this battle...He's got my back.

So today....I choose to trust what I can't see and believe that good will come from bad and truth will trump lies.

When I feel like I can't go on...when the road is winding way too long...You deliver me......

I'm so sorry. That is awful.

God does have your back. I'll be praying for you to have strength and direction as you move through this storm.

I can't begin to imagine the nightmare you are going through... praying that it is resolved quickly and you receive the credit that is rightfully yours.

Though it's difficult when we are right in the middle of having something awful happening ... God and HIS Angels, guides are with us, protecting us and giving us strength. You are not alone in this!! ... xo C. (HHL)

That quote is amazing. God does not leave us to figure it all out on our own. He is sovereign. I believe He will do the impossible for you.

How awful, but I find it encouraging that you are trusting Him ... who holds tomorrow. Lifting you up in prayer.

That is so unfair, but I believe God knows your situation and God is the one we can always trust. Justice will be done in God's perfect time:)

I would've be ANGRY too! FUMIN' Mad. I am always shocked at some of the ways people behave...like they have no clue at all....or they just choose to push past the little inner voice that says..that is SO wrong.
So Glad you heard His Whisper..It's always Gentle..and always Timely! He's got ya...and He'll deliver you!
Love ya sister.

That is terrible!!! I cannot believe someone would do that and then sadly I can because we live in a fallen world but a church person-makes it even worse. yes listen to that small quiet voice. I have learned to listen in the quiet for God to speak to me and God is there he will sort it out for you, God says leave them to him. I pray it will all get sorted out in your favour as it should be very soon. Blessings to you.

It seems to be harder to accept when it comes through the church. This song is beautiful. I needed to hear it tonight so I can "...lay me down in peace and sleep."

And I wonder is there nothing to do to stop this person? Well I agree God knows - wonder where this will lead. I am sorry. Hugs.

How can someone do that, how do they live with themselves? I pay this all gets taken care of for you. I would be livid!

Sarah,
When I went to republish "Joy in the Mourning", I ran into quite a few challenges. One of them was that the Christian publisher had gotten himself deeply in debt and the substantial amount of money I sent as a downpayment was used to cover some of his debt load. I was really angry and upset, because I didn't hear anything from him for months. He wouldn't return my calls or my emails. Finally I sent a letter that he had to sign for, and I knew then that at least he was alive. He wrote me a lengthy email later and apologized, telling me that the recession had hurt him badly, and also a fire had destroyed his home and business. I still struggled with forgiveness, and felt small for letting it bother me so badly. I found another publisher and began working with them. I had help editing the book, and now I can be thankful that it probably turned out much better than if the original publisher had republished it as it was. I realize this isn't the same as your situation, but I hope it gives you a little encouragement to know that somehow God can bring good out of what looks like certain disaster.
Blessings!

I stand with everyone's sentiments, Nikki. Right now, I'm SO indignant on your behalf, I want to punch something (lol).
Having just said that, I'd better go back and watch this video again.
We love you!

So sorry to hear your story, it always seems far worse when a christian is doing the dastardly deed! Stay strong, God will deal with him and his church. sending prayers your way.

This is so unfair. I am angry too. For you, and for the grave injustice, but mostly at the enemy - the thief who comes to steal, kill, and destroy. What an irony - this church and this couple who call themselves Christians. It is really okay to be angry, because something terribly wrong was done. But it is right to withhold judgment - because God is the ultimate judge.

I am praying for you, that God will step in, and fight for you.

Call on Jehovah Elohim tz'va'ot- Our Lord of Hosts - that is His battle name, the name we call upon when we are going to battle.

Keeping you close

I hate unfairness and this certainly is that. I believe you are right to let God take care of it. The battle belongs to the Lord. It is hard to keep from being angry. I am angry for you. I hope God takes care of it soon, but I always am reminded that we are not on the same timetable as He is.
Blessings,
Charlotte
