Kindness

Linking with Charlotte Spiritual Sunday  & Laura Faith Filled Friday

"I not only have the right to stand up for myself, but I have the responsibility. I can't ask somebody else to stand up for me if I won't stand up for myself. And once you stand up for yourself, you'd be surprised that people say, "Can I be of help?" Maya Angelou

It's the kindness of others that always pushed me forward...to hold on...to not give up...to have hope. And it's been like that all this week....people taking sides....drawing a line in the sand between right and wrong...truth and lies. The encouragement and support has been amazing.

And reading everyone's comments last week softened the blow of what that 'christian' and his church are doing. You guys are the best. From my heart to each one of yours.....a huge thank you.

When bad stuff happens.....something in me immediately wants to give up.....but there's a pull to keep putting one foot in front of the other....and to trust. I chose to do just that with this situation.

While my lawyers deal with 'them,' I'm working on the finishing edits to another book, Dancing Softly, a story that shows the power of kindness in one woman's life. I'm hoping to have it out in November.

Kindness...it's what He showed me when I was at my lowest. Kindness...it's what so many strangers showed me over my life. Kindness...it's what I want to give back...to pay forward what's been given to me.
Kindness...it's the most powerful force....

Thanks again, Guys!!!!

But I was never meant to walk this road alone.....

His loving kindness draws us to Him, and the kindness of others can really help carry us through difficult times. I love how God uses others like that. God will continue to work on your behalf and give you the strength to stand. Many blessings!

I hope that things will all work out for you for the best concerning your work that has been plagiarized. Best of luck with your new book too. It sounds like it will be a good one. :)

Wanda's words are ringing in my head! That is so true. I pray for you and wish you the very best. I know you know it, but always continue to trust Him! The Lord knows your heart. He is the one who remains perfect and always in step with us. Blessings to you and yours.

The kindness of God overwhelms us, and it is a power in this world that is opposite to the spirit of self that dominates the world today.

I continue to lift you up, that justice will soon be yours, and that your new book will be an astounding success, for the glory of God.

What a precious picture. Kindness is needed--kindness given away and kindness accepted.

Hi Sarah...Thanks for stopping by my blog today and commenting, too.

Was sad to read someone stole some of your writing. Gosh, that's not kind at ALL. Hope the lawyers deal well with it and that you will receive compensation for that wretched act.

Take care and have a nice Sunday. Susan

What would we be, without others' kind words and deeds?
I'm at a loss to describe the incredible support and kindness of other bloggers ... and I count YOU as one of the most precious!

Can't wait to read Dancing Softly! Is that cover photo one of yours?

Hugs,
Myra

I'm sorry to learn what you've been dealing with. Isn't it wonderful though, how faithful our God is? You listened to His counsel and followed it, and He is upholding you with His righteous right hand.
