His Presence

Linking up with Laura at Beholding Glory Charlotte at Spiritual Sunday

The presence of God is the finest of rewards.” Yann Martel

Some days I feel strong..... impassioned... excited. Hope and faith pumps me to reach for my dreams and live my best life.

Other days I wake up and think.....life is too hard....too tough....exhausting.  It seems like everything that can go wrong does. I'm too tired to care.....too tired to even try. I feel sorry for myself.....and  think about all the things I wish I had that I don't.....or about the people who hurt me......and I wish I was someone other than me. It's a terrible place of wishing and wanting and feeling empty.

But then the touch of His gentleness....and His whisper reminds me....I'm here...I got your back....I'll never leave. In those moments...I can forgive everyone who hurt me.....and I can do all the impossibles b/c in His presence....none of those things matter.

His quiet gentle voice in my spirit....assures me the sun will shine again.....the passion will return again.....peace will come back.

When I come into His presence....all my questions become clear...

this song is a beautiful one, but your words, the way you share your feelings, and connect them with Jesus, even more beautiful Nikki. You are a living song... unending... and as we walk to our eternal destination your song gives hope. Thank you.

In His Presence...none of it matters, it's a place we can lay it at Jesus feet. It's a place to fill back up with His love, it's a place where "All is Well". It's Hope shining, it's comfort, protection, a sheild from the fire - it's KNOWING He is our Rock!
Beautiful song...heartfelt.
Love ya sister!

some posts that you write are so on target that it's hard to have anything to say because you said it all, this is one of them
