Boy it's been hot!!! Super hot. And it's only June. But, even though it's hard to be outside too long....I'm grateful...especially for....
-A/C. The temps have hit record highs....even the kids won't go out and play....I'm totally grateful to the guy who invented a/c.
-Time.... There's a positive upside to the heat....I've hung out in the house and had mounds of time to finish writing one of my novels. Only 25 or so more pages to go....then done!
-Artistic Friends - spent hours with a good buddy brainstorming - excited....passionate...The time just flew. Love that
-Summer....so many neat things to look forward to....my dgt's been making a list....getting us all hyped and excited....
-Faith...it's that one constant...and the filter that helps me see everything in my life is as it should be....no fears....no worries.....He's there....always.....and when the tough stuff hits....He's always got back up plans.....

Oh, I would love to dive in a pool with ice, too on triple digit days...So far, it's okay where we are. But still early to tell...
That's great that you're moving forward to finishing another book. I pray God will bless this and open doors of opportunity for you for His glory.
That's one thing I love about summer. I have an excuse to buy some "ice cream" :)

WoW! We have heavy rain at the moment. Got soaked coming in from work. It's been much colder in Scotland for the time of year too. Not to worry... it helps the plants grow and the grass looks nice and lush. We've strong winds forecast for later this evening - being honest, I'm not looking forward to that however

I had never really thought of faith as a filter, but yes it is! It helps keep doubt and fear out. It does help us see everything in our life as it should be - faith really is a way of seeing.

Way to go on the writing. I so agree with you on the Faith. I don't know how I survived before I really got it. Well actually I do know how I survived before because He was always at my side. Have a wonderful weekend.
