Linking with Cami at Thankful Thursday
"Love life. Engage in it. Give it all you've got.
Love it with a passion because life truly does give back, many times over, what
you put into it" Maya Angelou
There's some things I don't understand and some people I don't get. But something I've always told my kids.... there's more good than bad in the world. I believe that. I think for every hurtful person or situation.....there's 25 awesome ones. This week I'm grateful for.....
-Our home. It was great travelling in Europe but I love being home again. I love its comfort, safety and homey feel.
-My oldest did it again. She aced her math test. 100%. I don't want to tell her yet....but I think her smarts definitely have exceeded mine.
-I've started another empowerment group. It's a privilege to share my story and show hope that nothing is impossible to overcome. The women left inspired and hopeful. For me it's life giving to give back and today I get to do it again.
-New friendship with R.
-Him being a constant in my life...always there....shouldering the good...the bad...the mediocre. Can't stay down knowing that He takes everything that happens and somehow makes it all into something beautiful in time.

Hi Nikki,

I believe too that we do have that choice to see the good in everything...I'm glad to hear about these so many blessings on you and family. What joy when our children accomplish something! I pray for the Lord's wisdom and discernment over your daughters. Take care sister. Keep shining. For Him. God bless.
Good things to be thankful for, especially Him!
Welcome back!! Will you be showing pictures?
Yes, although you have been over here for a short time - it's good to see you back online over there! :D
It's so encouraging to read your posts and to "see" God at work in your life.
I need to start a thankful list. I enjoy coming here and reading yours. Have a nice weekend.
Such nice blessings.
