Creation Calls

Linking up with Charlotte at  Spiritual Sunday  & Laura at  Brag on Friday

“Billions and billions of stars and planets out there, and behind them all are God.” Billy Graham.

Sometimes when I go outside at night and look up at the sky......I feel this amazing peace that everything is as it's supposed to be. It doesn't matter if things in my world are upside down or right side up.....all that matters is that I know I'm a small part of this big old world....and that the One who runs with me...who is always in my corner......has got everything under His control.

It's too cold now to go running in the woods....or hiking in the hills. But I can close my eyes....and imagine being on those mountains....or walking along the shore of the lake or standing under the massive trees....and I can breath in His presence just as if I was there.

Creation calls.....it pulls me away from the mundane...and quiets life's frustrations and routines and worries and fears and dreams that sometimes seem pointless.....

Creation calls.....

How can I say there is no God.......

Beautiful.

When I look at the night sky I am overcome by two thoughts. I am but a speck compared with the vastness of the universe. And yet, God gives me tremendous significance. How privileged I am.

I actually blogged about this. We are matter...that matters!

GOD BLESS!

It is a peaceful feeling to know that the One who made it all, is the same One who loves us and calls us His children!

Creation is God's masterpiece, and of course, man is His crowning glory.

I am blown away by the beauty of creation... so really everything you wrote on this post I agree with.

I read your previous posts as well... having been unable to visit blogs the past weeks, since there is no internet access at my daughter's place here in Manila.

I will be praying for Sandy and Ginny tonight, Nikki.

Blessings of peace and hope this new year! I pray that the new book you will write about your friend will become a shining testimony to the goodness of our God!

Love
Lidia

ahhh, beautiful post...when I look out at the ocean I say the same thing; how can one say there is not a God because he is in every droplet of water, each seed, star and sand particle...

Yes and amen! God's creation pours forth speech. At night I like to take Otis for a walk around the park. I usually find myself walking with head pointed up - the sky is loaded with stars, and sometimes a bright full moon. It is glorious!

Have a beautiful week, my friend...

My daughter was so happy when we moved out from town because she could see the stars.

I'm reading your book, Nikki. I don't have words to tell you the impact it is having on me. I will try to put words to what's in my heart when I have a bit more time.
