Surrounded

Linking up with Charlotte Spiritual Sunday  Laura Beholding Glory Karen Hallelujah Anyhow

“He finally understood that God's presence was everywhere, at all times, and experienced by everyone at one time or another.” Nicholas Sparks, The Last Song

Most days I walk around feeling really happy. It's not that there's any major reason for it.....It's just knowing that He's there....loving me.....always.....on those days I do awesome things I'm really proud of.....and on the days I blow it big time.

Love.....there was a time it hurt so bad.. a time if someone told me they loved me....I questioned what they wanted. It's weird but He never told me He loved me. He showed me....in a way that turned my world upside down. He broke through the colossal fears....scaled the wall I had erected so high....and waited. He wouldn't leave....not even when I screamed at Him...or did things to push Him away...Still He stayed. Even when I did those things I knew would hurt Him.....He wouldn't leave.....He hung in and kept showing me incredible love.

Love broke through.
Love healed my heart.
Love made the difference.
His love surrounds me and makes everyday the best ever.

You're the whisper calling my name gently...I can't live my life without You.......

He does surround us and indwell us - He is the air we breathe! That was my Rock4Today name for God this week, "My Breath".

(About the Sound of Music picture at the opening of your blog, ...interesting, because last night my husband and I went to a Sound of Music production by our granddaughter's jr. high drama class. They did awesome!)

The kind of love that this world knows is nothing compared to the truth in His kind of love...It's awesome to be reminded that He surrounds us all over...but the greatest thing/truth...He is in us...Unfathomable...His love...God bless.

Sometimes I still wonder what people want if they tell me they love me - you know what I mean? Sandie

Wow. Your opening sentence just grabbed me!
... What a lift you must provide those whose (physical) paths cross yours each morning!
Tho we may never have an opportunity to meet personally, your words never fail to lift me, as well!

Hi Sarah,
His love changed me! I didn't feel loved for a very long time after my grandmother died. But when I met Jesus, I never felt alone or unloved again. I am who I am, because of Him and His love.
Thank you for sharing from your heart. It's a beautiful thing and He ministers to others through you!
Thank you for being a willing servant.

Blessings and hugs,
Sandi

This was lovely, Nikki.

I like the thought - "You're the whisper calling my name gently..."

It reminded me of when God spoke to Elijah - not in the wind, not in the earthquake, not in the fire. "And after the fire there was the sound of a gentle whisper." (1 Kings 19:12)

Oh, the joy of hearing the still, small Voice calling MY name...

GOD BLESS!

Oh, that song is beautiful! I've never heard it before...

"...He never told me He loved me. He showed me..."

Isn't that just His way...

His love surrounds us like a shield. His love heals... restores... renews the broken places of your being!

Keep holding on to His love, dear Nikki!

The song is beautiful. And His love causes the beauty He gave you to shine forth!
