Hope

Linking up with Charlotte and Ginger who every week host Spiritual Sunday

"If it were not for hope the heart would break." Thomas Fuller

I know what it is to feel hopeless...to not see any way out of a situation...watching friends die and wondering if I'm going to be next. I know what it's like to walk around in the dark full of doubts and fears...to be alone with no one in my corner....on one caring what happens to me.

And I know what it is to have hope.

Hope - it's the thing that gives me courage in the face of fear.
Hope - it's what makes a world of difference.
Hope - it's what keeps me hanging on....refusing to give up...no matter how dark it gets...or how impossible it seems that anything can ever change for the better.

And what's really neat.....He gives second chances....and third and even fourth. No matter what we do....He's there...in our corner...cheering for us and believing for our best.....

Hope......

He is the hope living in me......

Just WONDERFUL! Since I know you read my last post, I know you'll understand how much I loved this. Yes, it's JESUS who is the hope.

I'm glad you shared that. It made my spirit lift this morning.

A wonderful song!! I just saw a movie that said that hope is building the tracks before you have a train.

I think, until one feels hopeless, they really don't appreciate hope. It lifts the soul, comforts the heart and calms the fears. I loved this post.

Without Hope we have nothing. Our Hope is our everything. Find joy in the Hope that is freely given... because joy is the fruit of our hope and others are hungry. So, as we feast, let us feed! :)

Blessings, Debbie

Hope lights a candle
in the darkest of nights
and burns on and on
til the morning light.
Scripture says that JOY
comes in the morning.
Hope carries us
when when lack of vision
steals our song.

May we greet the dawn
with with a song
birthed in the darkness
where HOPE abounds.

HOPE never dies
HOPE gives LIFE

hugs,
Patrina <")>><

Such a great post! We must never lose hope and we certainly must share Jesus with others... the source of our hope. Happy Spiritual Sunday!

I was doing the usual sick call and looking through those eyes in bondage made me sad. I could feel the hopelessness in their spirit. And in reality, a life without Jesus is dead!

I love that when we receive the hope that comes from Him, we are not limited to keeping it. It is too much to be thankful for that we have no option but to share it. Glory be to God! Blessings to you sister and keep on inspiring and encouraging those who hasn't seen the "real hope" that only comes from those wounded hands. Love you in Christ.

Our pastor recently said, "We can live 3 weeks without food, but only 1 day without hope." So thankful for the hope God gives.
