Thankful Thursday

Linking up with Dayle's Thursday's Simple Pleasures

When you focus on the goodness in your life, you create more of it. Opportunities, relationships, even money flowed my way when I learned to be grateful no matter what happened in my life. - Oprah Winfrey

Thinking about what I'm grateful for....my mind spins through so many things. Everything  in my life are gifts that I've been given. I've never forgotten how dark my life was....how empty and alone. Gratitude....you bet I am. This week...I'm thankful for

-seeing the snow melt and feeling the warm breeze blowing through my hair...signs that spring is around the corner.
-my oldest turned 15 last Sunday. She's the most amazing kid...okay...proud mama here. ☺it's true though. She really is an amzing kid!
-My youngest's wicked sense of humour. The girl cracks me up. Even when I'm grumpy...she can cut through and make me laugh.
-I met this woman...someone gave her my name. She has a story....a wild story of physical healing. We met for coffee and felt as if we had known each other forever. She wants the two of us to work together to empower others. Love that.
-His absolute constant love that never ever ever changes. He's always there....never leaves...Because of Him....life is full of adventures....and hope.

Have a great thursday guys!!!

Happy Birthday to your 15 year old! Isn't it great that they have different personalities and "jobs" in your heart? My younger one is the laugh giver too. I wouldn't change their differences for all the world.

I'll be interested to read where this new acquaintance that God put in your path take you.

I love your thankful Thursdays! What a great idea! :) If we didn't find things to be thankful for, what a depressing life we'd have. I'm glad you have good things in your life even though you have to deal with so much pain too. And I'm glad you have a strong faith too - I don't know what I'd do without that! xx

Sarah, you have a wonderful list of things to be thankful. Happy belated birthday to your daughter. It sounds like you have two awesoome kids, which is a blessing in so many ways.

I liked Oprah's quote and I find it all so true.
Thanks for stopping by and always giving me so much encouragement.
