Spiritual Sunday

Thanks Charlotte and Ginger for hosting Spiritual Sunday

"Breathe. Let go. And remind yourself that this very moment is the only one you know you have for sure" Oprah Winfrey

It's usually difficult for me to relax....let go and enjoy. I worry about all the ifs that might happen or go wrong....instead of just enjoying 'the moment.' Traveling around...I'm aware even more how easy it is for me to fall into that crazy headspace..

But when I stop....take a breath...and trust....His whisper strong and sure...assures me...no worries....that He's there with me even in unfamiliar places...

He's promised..and it's true...He's there always...still in my corner....

When you shepherd me I have everything I need....

Hi Sarah,
I think there is a theme today.... Staying in the moment. I just saw two birds gliding on the wind in the sky. Through my illness, I am learning to just breathe and be. I can't do much else til I get better. :)

Thanks for you encouragement to me. It means alot...more than you know. :)
Blessings,
Tammy

Beautiful song, beautiful video. The past few posts I've read have been so peaceful, so encouraging. Just what I need, and so many others need. Thank you, Jesus. This is going to be a GREAT Spiritual Sunday!

We need to only live in each moment, but that can be hard! It's a good thing that we don't know the future, we'd be nervous wrecks!!!

I do the same thing once in awhile if I'm out of my little box. This song is pretty,I think I need to eat something all the food looked so yummy.

Hi Sarah,
You sound like me; I don't know how to relax either. I think it's the way I was raised and it's a hard thing to do when you've walked on egg shells your whole life! But God is teaching me and I'm a lot better than I used to be! Actually, I find the beach is the best place for me to go to relax because I find it so peaceful there. I love the sound of the waves lapping on the shore and the birds singing in the red cliffs behind us. The blue of the sky and the big puffy clouds overhead just fill me with such contentment and I know that He is there smiling down on me! I love it!
This time of year of course, there is snow out there so I am waiting patiently for Summer again.
Thanks for your visit. I always enjoy your visits, sister.

Blessings,
Sandi

Hi Sarah,

Thanks for sharing this song. Although I've never heard it before, I can defnitely identify with being led by the Shepherd of my life. I would classify myself as a Type-A personality, so I tend to keep busy.

That being said, I believe the Lord is teaching me to enjoy the steps of this journey (whether I'm walking along a sandy beach or muddy water).

Thanks for saying, take a breath and appreciate this moment.

Have a good weekend.

Blessings and peace.

Blessings Sarah...so breathe and let GO!

Such a beautiful song by Brian! I truly felt the Shepherd! So I will trust as you do and share with Him shepherding you, as He is everything we need!

May you dwell and continue to be overwhelmed by His love and mercy! Awesome! Brian's words touch the gentle side of my heart today with a BIG:0)
Love all He has done with you and through you!

Truth be told, I am learning after many years to relax... maybe it's old age setting in, or a spirit of weariness and heaviness but stopping my mind from racing ahead is a whole 'nther story... yet I trust in His Peace and the loving rod of this gentle Shepherd! He is so good!

Countin' it all JOY! Peace, love and continued success but don't forget to stop and breathe in!
Peggy

Oh, Sarah. I so relate to you in finding it difficult to let go of the “what if’s”. I’m really working harder on it this year, and I pray God’s blessings on both of us to just breathe… You are such an encouragement.
