Thankful Thursday

Linking up with Dayle at Simple Pleasures

"The more we are aware of to be grateful for, the happier we become."  Ezra Taft Benson

I'm grateful.....and happy. I've been given more than I could have ever imaged. It's hard to believe that life had once been so empty and dark...The things I'm most grateful for are:

-Hope....that lives inside me and breathes life into everything I see....every change....every thought of possibility.
-Faith...that's become my anchor...something I can hang onto when there isn't anything else. It keeps me grounded...
-Love...that I can not only give...but now also that I can finally recieve. Love...it takes away the fear....
-Peace....that's replaced fear and worry...it's replacing the constant angst and need to live on the edge.
-Joy....that helps me kick back....have fun, laugh, dance and play....and not be so serious. Joy....it's the best.

Happy New Year guys....wishing you all His absolute best for twenty-eleven!

Hi Sarah,
So true...."Joy, it's the best."

I lived the first part of my life so serious. I missed my childhood, but I am making up for lost time. :)

Blessings,
Tammy

Sarah, you are so right, hope and joy are the only way to live. I try to live everyday with hope and sunshine, I live with a man, whom I love dearly but his whole life has been lived with the glass half empty theory. Always depressed and never sees the good side of anything, it is so sad to watch someone like this because they can't enjoy life and tries to bring everyone down to their depth of sadness or in his case anger.
Hope the sunshine covers you everyday.
Molly
