Thankful Thursday

"Life isn't about getting what you want, it's about being grateful for what you have." Tillara Gennett

Some days it's easy to think that everything is the way it's supposed to be....and even when it's not.....I know somehow that it'll turn around ...and become what it should. Other days....it's really hard...and I have to work at believing.

Something that always helps me in those hard times.....is saying thank-you. Gratitude helps me focus on all the good things He's done in my world.......and reminds me how much He's there in my corner......I'm grateful this week for:

-the opportunities I've had to share my story and make a difference for someone else.
-my daughter putting so much effort into wanting to make another trailer/advertisment for my book. She's so patient.  I don't know how I got to be the luckiest mom of two amazing kids.
-the emails I recieved yesterday and today asking for my thoughts on someone wanting to know how they too can find freedom. Knowing that everything I went through...all that bad stuff.....is now being used for good....amazes and thrills me
-for Him being in my corner....and never giving up on me....
-for you guys.....for letting me share my heart....and for listening to you share yours.

Blessings to you Sarah. Our Lord always uses us to be witnesses to the hurting souls out there in the world. Thank you for being such a blessing to so many folks that are also hurting. Thank you for allowing God to work in your life and thank you for being His faithful servant. God bless, Lloyd

The Lord does want to bless those who love Him. So it's not surprising if you have 2 amazing kids! And I know you're a great mom they adore. What a perfect time to say thank you and glorify the Lord today! God bless you and protect you sister.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today. I have read a bit just now but am going to go back and read up. It seems that we both had abusive childhoods and I love that blogging opens up those doors to know we are not alone. And that sometimes that gold at the end of a rainbow is a normal adulthood.

Sarah, you are one amazing person. You light up the lives of so many and your faith keeps you in such a positive light I am not sure how you came through everything but I do know He was with you each step of the way Anne
