I'm linking up with two awesome blog groups... Greg at http://gregsgeneralstore.blogspot.com/ and Dayle from Simple Pleasures at http://alittleofthisandthat2.blogspot.com/
"In everyone's life, at some time, our inner fire goes out. It's then burst into flame by an encounter with another human being. We should all be thankful for those people who rekindle the inner spirit." Albert Schweitzer
Sometimes when things happen that get me down...I walk around feeling moody and grumpy and no matter how hard I try...I can't kick the feeling. Then unexpectantly...someone comes a long..says something..or does something so kind....I just got to feel good. I'm so thankful for:
-friends who I can count on....who'se words I can trust...and who never give up on me.
-a sister who is always in my corner and who unconditionally supports and encourages me
-my kids who crack me up and can make me laugh until it hurts.
-the kindness of strangers who reach out and make my world a better place and motivate me to do the same for others
-an awesome God....for teaching me it's ok to just be me and who loves me just because.....

Sarah,
I love that quote. It is so true. We need each other. To encourage us, and ignite our inner Spirits. :)
Blessings,
Tammy
Yes, I totally agree. We should all be so thankful for God's angels here on earth! I hope you have a great rest of the week!
Your first statement is so important. Others give up on some so easily. Like we don't matter. I could never do such a thing to one I call a friend or sister from a different mother. I just couldn't. I love your list. There are so many people who touch our lives daily and unless we actually take a moment to see the gifts, we might very well go without noticing or acknowledging. Hugs to you. Tammy
These are great. A kind word can make all the difference in the word. We talked about this in church Sunday.
Amen sis, it is very easy to love you. You are precious.
Hello Sarah, Isn't it so wonderful belonging to the 'Body of Christ' and supporting each other..
It is a great blessing to me to have all these beautiful Bloggers as friends, people who encourage and love without restraint.
We may never meet in this world but we are one in Him. Hugs CML
Yes I am doing the thankful Thursday also, I have been for over a year, so stop by and see my thankfulness post, hugs my friend, Barbara
Oh, how I love that quote at the beginning! It is SO true, too. I am very mindful this week of my friends who were there when I needed some help for my inner fire.
Remembering them is indeed a simple pleasure.

Especially love those people who make us laugh so hard we hurt. What a pure simple pleasure, and priceless.

Those who love us "just as we are." So true, reminds me of the hymn, "Just As I Am." Great list of Thankfuls. Thank you for your nice comments on my pillows!
