Spiritual Sunday "Thank-you"

Charlotte and Ginger host Spiritual Sundays. To join in post and add your name at http://bloggerspirit.blogspot.com/

".....behind me, I heard the man asking: 'For God's sake, where is God?'  And from within me, I heard a voice answer: 'Where He is? This is where--hanging here from this gallows...'
If the only prayer you say throughout your life is "Thank You," then that will be enough."  Elie Wiesel

All week I've been running on a high. The award for my book showed me in a tangible way just how much God was with me.  Not only in writing my story....but in going through all that stuff with me....the times I felt utterly alone...walking too close to the edge of death....convinced the darkness would completely swallow me...

And then....with no hope of ever finding freedom.....His touch...Undeserved. Unmerited.....Just like that. His grace....His mercy. When I look back over my life and all the times you've brought me through...I just want to say.... Father...thank-you........

Yes, Sarah...this is indeed something. Your book getting an award. I do praise God for you, and together with you, thank Him.

You are so special in His sight, dear friend.

And I appreciate having met you.

I went back to one of your earlier posts, and found Raging Sea by Michael Smith. It was so beautiful.

Love
Lidj
