"I just want to do God's will, and He's allowed me to go to the mountain. And I've looked over and I've seen the promise land."
                             Martin Luther King, Jr.

There was no way I could have known....when I struggled in all that darkness....that He had a plan.

I just found out my book won a TWG award and an honorable mention for the highest of their awards. I struggled so much to write....to tell the truth of what happened. Winning - it makes me think....He knew all along that I would tell.  I had to. It was His touch....the touch of His gentleness that made all the difference.

I'm grateful that He never gave up on me....that He didn't listen when I shook my fist in the air and dared Him to kill me. He waited...patiently...until I was ready....to let go....to stop hurting myself....to trust... that He had a plan....a purpose to use all that pain and trauma. He just wanted me to tell. I couldn't for a long time - but now - I know....when we're in the darkness....and there seems to be no way out.....and our prayers seem to be hitting the ceiling.....to stay strong....to hold tight...because we're moving mountains long before we know we can. There can be miracles when you believe.....

Sarah, you are one awesome person. Your kindness towards others is something not always seen with people. You know how to touch someones heart with your wonderful attitude. I have another friend here in blog land that had a very difficult relationship with her dad. My nieces have a father that drank himself nearly to death. They have bittersweet memories and have learned to give it to God! You are incredible. Keep being you Sarah! Happy Spiritual Sunday! You always post great music and wonderful messages! Hugs Anne

Yep, I believe HE knew about your award long before night was separated from day, and also how many hairs on your head would be.

I am SO glad I got to listen to the "miracle" song tonight--it is helpful, SO helpful!

There can indeed be miracles... Congratulations on your award! That's wonderful. At times like this, I dislike the whole anonymity concept, because I'd love to read your book. But I value the traditions, and so will just have to send you my heart-felt wishes for all good things. Hugs.

I praise God with you that your book won an award. God be given the glory as you expose the hiding places of the enemy through your book.

The enemy wants to keep us in darkness and thereby keep his schemes hidden and enable him to launch his attacks in secret, but exposing his hiding places will render him powerless.

I continue to pray for you as you travel the path of healing.

Thank you for reading my posts, and leaving kind comments to encourage my heart.

It has been a blessing getting to know you.

Love
Lidj
