Spiritual Sunday " " ".

Thanks Charlotte and Ginger for hosting Spiritual Sundays. To join in...post and add your name at http://bloggerspirit.blogspot.com/

Sometimes when I pray....I feel like I'm hitting the ceiling...that I'm just talking to myself....nothing changes...things stay the same. I pray again.. Nothing. Silence.

But then I remember what He's done for me....how He came through when nothing else worked. I remember His touch....His power...the miracles....and I know....I can't give up...I can't give in....no matter how dark things get...no matter how long it takes for things to turn around....

I'm not running alone anymore....even when I'm standing in the dark...I'll still believe...cause Someone's watching over me.

No, we must never give up. He hears every thought we form and every prayer we murmer. He knows every hair on our heads. He loves and cares for us like no other. He is forever and always there for us. Have a good week. Hugs, Debbie

We may want thing done our way(quickly),But God does things His way on His time not ours. This is why we feel that we are in darkness so much,But with God by our side we are never alone.

Amen to that.

I was thinking as I read your post that no matter how much progress that I make, there is always more to learn in the darkness. Walking by faith...always challenging! Makes me need Him more.

The good thing about prayer/faith is that we don't have to FEEL His presence to KNOW He's listening.

Waiting in silence, His silence, is hard on our part sometimes. But sometimes, this silence is His answer to our prayers as a bigger revelation comes. We just need to keep that faith and trust in Him. God bless sister. Nice song!

Of course honey,
do not give up or break down... after all you've been through and that sweet soul of yours, it'd be silly, because apart from Him always watching over you, we are here too, i.e your blogland people
Big hug sweetie!

Even in the moments when we want nothing more to feel His embrace, to hear His whispering Spirit of comfort, to make clarity in our minds....He remains faithfully with us. Sometimes we need a little time to seek His face longer, and just when we think we can't wait a minute more...new life blossoms before us or within.

Bless you. Thank you for visiting my blog earlier. I'm sorry that it made you feel a little sad when reading it ♥

Any time I'm struggling a bit with connecting to my Higher Power, it helps enormously to acknowledge all the times that He's been there in the past and things have worked out. Gives me a lot of gratititude and confidence that there's a plan in place in that it's good.

Gratitude is always the correct response, isn't it? And the perfect antidote to discouragement. Thank you for a wonderful post and your transparent heart.:)

What a great post. I can relate. I remind myself that people in the Bible sometimes waited 30 years or more for God to answer their prayers. I also tell myself that sometimes the answer is "no" or "not now," and that everything is as it should be. Mostly, I don't pray for anything specific. Only for guidance and acceptance of what is. I believe that God knows what's best for me and gives it to me every day.

Blessings sweet Sarah...YOU and me both!!! Bouncing off the ceiling... yep!

But EL ROI(the One who sees and watches)He is there though the mist keeps us from seeing Him. Great song for my posts last week on El Roi...never heard this song but it sure encourages us and inspires us not to give up!

Great, powerful message! Especially for anyone in a struggle, waiting or being told "no". We must press on and be confident that sooner or later we'll get through or better yet He'll get through to us! We can look forward to the day that He will wipe away every tear and earthly pain or suffering or things we don't understand, suddenly clear just for believing! Trying to read between the lines here or the ... but I trust that you know You are not alone and if you need prayer, I am here but so is HE 24/7!!! :=)
(((hugs))) Yes someone's watching over you, you are a living testimony of His power!

God's timing is always perfect and I get frustrated with it that way! Because we like it our way and it is hard for me lots of times to trust without seeing the fruits of His works and His grace. He makes us wait for His time. am trying to get better at the waiting. Blessings to you.

This scripture verse came to my mind.
1Jo 1:7 -
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
Praying for you, Dear. Blessings ~

I have never heard that song, but I thought it was perfect. The other night I was trying to fall asleep and I began thinking through some problems that needed to be resolved. It made me anxious. Thank I thought, "God's got my back." I immediately relaxed and was able to let go and go to sleep. I appreciated your post!
