You wouldn’t know by looking at her
How overwhelmed she felt
broken, lost, alone.
She had been out with friends the night before.
Had a good time, laughed, enjoyed.
But Monday morning she didn’t show up for work.
She had taken her life. None of us saw her desperation - Guilt. Heartbroken. A Christian lost.

mine is up!
Lord,
I pray you gives us your eyes to see the "desperation" around us.
Thanks for sharing, Sarah.
Sometimes it is easy to hide behind a smile.
Laughing on the outside...crying on the inside...It is sad when people think that suicide is the only way out. Not true...God bless.
Dang Sarah...
This one hit you right between the eyes.
Sad But Excellent 55 My Dear...
Thanks for this powerful contribution, and have a Wonderful Week-End...G
So sad, but true....we can not see what is hidden..only GOD can see what is hidden.
Blessings, hugs, and prayers,
andrea
Blessings, and much love to you precious one.
That's a tough one. I've been there watching others hide behind a facade, unable to expose that they need help. Then taking the wrong life.
My 55 is HERE.
((((Sarah))))
I feel your pain in this one particular dear one. So very sorry.
I thought that was really very good! I feel at a cross-road in my life just at the minute. I am burdened down with things that I cannot do anything about and I'm thinking of taking a break for a couple of weeks. Mainly because of things that happened to me over this past year and my blog going really down-hill at break-neck speed. Time to re-charge batteries for a while, while I think about which direction I want to go.
Many thanks for this post! It was very much appreciated.
Wow. I've known "her". And I never want to forget. Powerful post.
