55 Flash Friday

To participate in 55 Flash Friday - write a story in 55 words no more no less and then let the G-man know.

Everyday they huddled in alleyways, on street corners, scrounging, transient, with empty vacant stares; the outcasts, the homeless.
She never cared. Always turned away. But today, reflecting His birth, a gift, the Son, His sacrifice, His love. Reaching in her pocket, she pulled her last bill, handed it to the young woman, smiled. "Merry Christmas, Friend."

Hey Guys, for the winner of the book giveaway, see post below this.

I like the message but I hope people get that it shouldn't take Christmas to make people give from the heart. Thanks for sharing. Thanks for visiting mine :)

Some months back I was in a position to give some money to someone that needed it out on the street. I blew it, missed the opportunity, and I wish I hadn't. I hope I won't ever let an opportunity to help someone again. Thanks for visiting my 55 and sharing yours. :)
